We are incredibly proud to announce that two of our recent graduates, Éabha Kelly and Roisin Stuart, were honored at the UCD Entrance Scholars Awards Ceremony held on February 11th at University College Dublin. These prestigious awards are reserved for students who achieve the highest Leaving Certificate points in their school,marking them as some of the university’s most exceptional new entrants.
The ceremony, hosted by UCD President Professor Orla Feely, was a wonderful celebration of academic dedication. The event offered a glimpse into the future of education within the new O'Connor Centre for Learning, featuring a keynote on the evolving "Future of Work." Éabha is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Finance, while Roisin is studying Actuarial and Financial Studies.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. McDermott, who represented DCGA at the ceremony and the pre-event programme. To commemorate the girls' hard work and success, the school was presented with a commemorative plaque, which Mr. McDermott accepted on our behalf. Congratulations to both Éabha and Roisin as they continue their journeys in the world of finance and economics!
