The Shining Green Shoes

Once upon a time in a far away land lived a beautiful princess called Gill. She lived in a castle on top of a hill over looking a quiet bay. She lived with her father King James.

Gill's birthday was only one day away and not a word had been said about it. In two hours she would be sixteen but nobody seemed to care. On her way to bed she said good night to her father but he hardly acknowledged her. `

As Gill lay in bed she heard the clock strike twelve, she was now sixteen. Suddenly, tumbling in the window came a little green fairy. She jumped up onto the bed and smiled at the princess "Happy Birthday" she said "My name is Magical Maeve". Gill was awestruck "What are you doing here?" Magical Maeve said a few words of a spell and out of nowhere appeared a magnificent pair of shinning green shoes "For your birthday of course, you silly Billy!" "Here is your pressie" and she slipped the slippers on Gill's feet. "That's not all, these are not just any ordinary shoes, they're magical, if you stamp your feet three times saying MOO! OINK! MEOW!" you will be granted three wishes!

Gill thanked Magical Maeve and with a puff of smoke she was gone. Gill sat on her bed thinking about what she could wish for. Suddenly it all came to her she could wish for an adventure, she would surly have lots of fun on her birthday. So she jumped up off her bed, stamped her feet three times and said in a loud voice "MOO! OINK! MEOW!" and she wished as hard as she could. After an hour or so she was fed up waiting and went to sleep.
Gill woke up with an unusual feeling inside her, she opened her eyes. Standing above her was a small, round man. He was wearing a patch over his left eye and a sword hung from his belt. Princess Gill felt afraid "Where am I? Is this my adventure?" she asked the strange man "Listen mate" he answered roughly "I haven't got time for this, we have work to do, now help me hoist the sails!" and with that he stormed out of the room.
Getting out of her hard, wooden bed she realised she was on a ship. In a flash she was up on deck and ready to find out what her adventure was all about. While she was helping the pirate, all the other pirates were laughing at her with beers in their hands. Gill was very frightened; this was not the adventure she had hoped for! As the day went on Gill began to wonder weather she should use her second wish to get her home but then she discovered she was not the only person on board who was being bullied by the horrible pirates. As she scrubbed the deck she saw three of the pirates threaten a very handsome, young guy with a sword. The young pirate wasn't like the rest of the scallywag, he was kind and didn't laugh at her. At dinner Gill sat alone with only a piece of bread but the young pirate sat beside her and said "Hi, my name is Chris, would you like to share my dinner?" Gill immediately fell in love with him. That night Gill told Chris about her magic shoes and so they decided to wish their way home.

They held hands and wished to go home but just then two ugly pirates grabbed their legs. "MOO! OINK! MEOW!" Screamed Gill and she wished the pirates would disappear. In a flash the pirates were gone. "Now we can go home" said Gill and she wished again but this time it didn't happen.

Ping and Pongs' Great Adventure!

Once upon a time in Happy Town Village, there was a big festival on. All the V.I.P's and special Elves, Umpa-Lumpas and Pixies were invited except for The Wicked Witch who lived on the other side of Marshmallow Lake. She was wicked and cruel and was a big meanie! She had formed alliance with Gollum and his evil goblin tribes, therefore nobody liked her because the Goblin tribes kept trying to attack Happy Town Village!

Everyone was enjoying themselves on this fine sunny day, especially Ping and Pong (who were the mischief makers of the town!) They decided to sneak into the bakery and 'fill up' on cakes! While they were inside, they heard a "strange sound!". They grabbed more cakes and rushed outside only to see the Wicked Witch flying away after turning all the Happy Town Villagers into frogs!!!! They were shocked!! After taking a minute to recover from their shock, they decided to take action and find The Wicked Witch and make her turn all the Elves, Umpa-Lumpas and Pixies back to their original state.

So they began the journey to complete their task. They walked through the Enchanted Forest. They were frightened by all the unusual noises, but they were determined to fulfil their task! When they came out of Forest, they headed towards the Lake. While looking for a way to cross it, their friend Ariel emerged out of the sticky, pink, marshmallow goo! She agreed to help them cross the Lake. So Ping and Pong jumped on her back and she swam towards The Wicked Witch's castle on the other side of Marshmallow Lake. As they approached the castle, they saw the goblin army surrounding it! They realised that the only way in, was to compromise with Gollum. They found him, had a long conversation with him and finally agreed to give him The Golden Ring in return for entrance into the evil castle!!

They dashed upstairs and grabbed a big huge bucket and filled it with water. They sneaked up behind The Wicked Witch and threw it over her head!! She screamed and yelled in pain, but it only took her a minute to realise that she was not melting, she was just wet!! At that stage Ping and Pong had grabbed the magic potion she was brewing, the potion that could save everyone in Happy Town Village.
By the time The Witch had ran down the stairs, Ping and Pong were half way across the lake on Ariel's back.

They ran courageously through the Enchanted Forest, they past the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs and straight into Happy Town Village. They gathered all the Elves, Umpa-Lumpas and Pixies together and poured the potion over them. There was a puff of smoke and when the smoke cleared, everyone had turned back to their original state!! They all cheered for Ping and Pong. Today, Ping and Pong work together to protect Happy Town Village against the forces of crime and evil and are mischief makers no more!!

Rescuing the Prince

Once upon a time there was a Prince who lived with his stepmother in a castle. His stepmother, Elizabeth, was a witch who had magical powers. She really hated the Prince, Jonathan, because since his father died he gets all the money and jewels that his father left him in his will. Elizabeth decided to turn him into an ogre and lock him in a tower in the enchanted forest at the edge of the village. She wanted all the money and jewels for herself. The spell would be broken if someone finds him and completes the tasks leading up to the tower.

People in the village noticed the prince was absent from his duties. Elizabeth pretended he was missing and most people believed her. Except for the Prince's friends, Henry and Charles, who knew that she was lying because she hated the Prince. They set out to find him, starting the search in the enchanted forest.

In the enchanted forest the sky is so black that it is night when it's really day. It was hard to see where they were going. After every step that Henry and Charles took, trees would close in behind them disallowing them to turn back. Finally they saw a tower. It was across a long, deep, mouldy lake and neither Henry nor Charles could swim. But that was the least of their problems!!!!

Charles spotted stepping stones in the lake and they decided to go across the lake by stepping on them. They stepped onto the first one nervously. By the fourth one they were a bit more relaxed. They were six steps from the tower when the stepping stones started to shake. They suddenly got lifted up into the sky. They didn't know what was happening until they looked up and saw the blazing flames come out of the dragon's mouth. Henry threw his biggest sword at the dragon's right leg as his father was a dragon expert and if a sword spikes threw a dragon's leg it will die.

The dragon fell, making a loud thud, and they ran across the dragon's tail to the bank of the lake. Finally they were at the tower. They were surprised that the door had no lock and it opened immediately when Charles turned the brass knob. They walked up the stairs and halfway through climbing it, it turned into a slide and they slid, crashing into each other, to the very bottom where they started.

They reluctantly dragged themselves up the slippery slide by holding onto the holes in between the stones on the wall. After three hours of this nightmare they reached the top of the slide. It had now turned to dusk and they really wanted to get out of the tower. They ran to the one door that was in the hallway. Again, there was no lock and to their surprise it opened. There, in the dimly lit room, they found a bed and one tall, gruesome looking ogre. At once they knew it was the Prince as the ogre was wearing a big t-shirt with Jonathan's family crest on it. The ogre spoke English, as they soon found out, and they walked back towards the Prince's castle.

There, Henry and Charles pleaded with Elizabeth not to tell they're parents about rescuing the Prince. But Elizabeth wasn't really listening. She was thinking about all the riches she could have owned. Since the spell had been broken she turned the ogre back into the Prince. And they all (except for the stepmother) lived happily ever after!

Where's Henry?

Once upon a time there lived a young princess who felt very left out in her big family. She shared her bedroom with her eldest sister Eliza. Every morning the princess awoke with Eliza sitting at the end of her bed with the princesses' dairy threatening to read it aloud to the village, unless the princess did what sister wanted. The King and Queen never realised what was going on between their daughters.

The only way she could escape from Eliza was to go swimming in the ocean with her best friend Henry. One bright sunny day as they were swimming, Henry kept going under water and screaming but when he didn't come back up for air she began to worry. She swam back to shore as fast as she could. She stood still for a moment on the shore. As she was crying, a little old lady dressed in black on her back came over and asked would she like to come back to her cottage for a cup of tea.

As the princess approached the cottage a big crow flew out of an old shaggy oak tree. "Down boy" shouted the old lady. The crow replied with "Who is this you are bringing, another dinner for us to feast upon". As she entered the small cottage she noticed a lot of strange objects, such as broomsticks all lined up against a dark damp wall, cauldrons stacked up in high piles and mounds of human skeleton bones lying on the floor at the other side of the small room. Little did the princess know Eliza had seen her enter the cottage.

All of sudden she heard a voice that sounded familiar coming from under the floorboards. "What was that noise" said the princess, the old lady replied "it's just your imagination my dear". The old lady went out side to collect wood for the fire, "it was going to be a long evening," the old lady said. As she went out the door the princess lifted the old dusty rug to find a hatch underneath. She opened the creaky old hatch only to find her best friend Henry locked up in an old metal cage. She screamed in horror. With that the witch came up from behind her and threw her in the cage with Henry.

As she trembled with fear there was a knock on the door. The princess heard the witch screaming in pain. A beam of light came from above them. The princess saw Eliza's face staring at her. Eliza said "quick come with me, we have to get out of here the witch is starting to gain conciseness". Eliza pulled both of them up by the arms. As they ran out the door the witch gained conciseness. They ran through the green bushy forest trying to reach the princesses' castle in time, the witch trailing behind them. As the witch ran she grew more tired, next of all she fell through a camouflaged hole with sticks and leaves. The princess ran over to the hole, the witch had disappeared

Since that day the princess Eliza and Henry have been best friends.
