Class 2.4 Complete 24 Hour Fast for Trocaire

Congratulations to Class 2.4 and their CSPE teacher Ms. Norris who as part of their CSPE project undertook the Trocaire 24 Hour Fast on Friday 13th of March.

TCH All-Ireland Schools Quiz Round 2 Details

Dominican College successfully won their first round of the TCH Quiz on the 27th January in the Montrose Hotel, Dublin when they defeated Hartstown Community College 80-46. Round 2 will take place at the same venue on Tuesday 24th of March at 7.00pm against Colaiste Eanna CBS and Castleknock College. Anyone who wishes to come and support our team on the night in this event is welcome!
 
The team consists of:
Seniors: Eimear Ellis & Lauren O’Neill
Juniors: Aoife Seary & Katherine McLoughlin
 
The overall winners of the TCH All-Ireland Schools Quiz will receive a Dell Notebook each, as well as €20,000 worth of Dell Equipment for their school.

Eva Murphy Ryans UCD Literary and Historical Society Junior Debates Run Ends at the Semi-Final Stage

Commiserations to Eva Murphy Ryan who bowed out of the UCD L&H Junior Debates competition at the semi-final stage on Tuesday 10th of March.

To reach this stage was a fantastic effort by Eva who should rightly be very proud of her efforts this year.

Congatulations to her and her teacher Ms. Maureen O'Connor for what was achieved this year.
 

'Good Luck' to our Junior Basketball Team in the Dublin Final on Thursday

The management, staff, and students of Dominican College would like to wish our Junior Basketball team the best of luck in their Dublin Final against Santa Sabina this Thursday, the 19th of March at 1.00pm in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght.

Bhí Saoirse Ní Bhaoill, Laura-Ann Ní Cheallaigh agus Catherine Caulfield ar an bhfoireann seo. Bhí said I bhfabhar an rúin ‘Léiríonn muintir na hÉireann grá dá dtír’. Rinne said go hiontach ach faraoir géar níor eirigh leo dul tríd Chuig Croabh nd hÉireann.
