Anna Carey, Award winning Author of the Real Rebecca, came to talk to the Junior Cycle Book Club on Thursday 10th May.

Anna was a pupil of Dominican College herself and her book is based on her school days, her friends, her teachers, her embarrassing but famous mother and her romance with the Postman!

Over fifty girls who read her book were able to enjoy asking her questions about her book and her life as a journalist

Everyone, staff and students really enjoyed her visit to the school, the first time in 20 years!

Thanks to the English Department for their support and particularly to Ms Riney and Ms Murray for their help.

We await the publication of Anna Carey's sequel 'Rebecca's Rules' in the Autumn this year.
