November We Remember

The month of November is for remembering those we have lost in our lives. This week as a school community, we remembered those people. Using footprints we wrote the names of the friend and family members who have sadly passed away to show that even though they aren’t here with us today they still have left a mark on our lives. By placing their names on hearts around our centre piece it reminds us that they are still in our hearts and that we should never forget about them.

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

On a completely separate note, I don’t know about you but these last few weeks have been busy, if that is even the best way to describe it. We are all as students and staff running around. In some ways at the end of the day I have wondered what have I achieved today. In this time of busyness and before the madness of the Christmas season kicks in just take a moment to appreciate the positives, to take a breadth. Life is to be enjoyed but we also need to be aware of the other people that are around us. Otherwise our friends, classmates and colleagues become lost.  Look after eachother!!!!!

“What day is it today?” asked Pooh

“It is today,” replied piglet.

“My favourite day,” said Pooh.
