Under 19 Basketball Update

Dominican College U19 Premier Basketball Team

Dominican College U19 Premier Basketball Team started off the 2008-2009 season as Dublin League Champions. This year their group consisted of Manor House, Raheny and St. Mary’s, Glasnevin. After coming top of the group, the U19’s drew St. Paul ’s, Greenhills in the quarter final. With a convincing win, a tough semi-final with Mount Sackville was inevitable, as they were their toughest competition last year. Unfortunately it was a narrow defeat. However, the U19 team are looking forward to the forthcoming Inter-Dominican Cup in Muckross at the end of March and retaining the Inter-Dominican title.

Dominican College U19 Premier Basketball Team: Julie Donohue, Ciara Horan, Kellie-Anne Payne, Paula Mahon, Gemma O’Leary, Aoife Darling(C), Laura McGrath(C), Lisa Dalderup, Michelle Coleman
